Wren - King of the birds

A delightful pendant in tribute to one of my favourite little birds, the wren and inspired by the British folklore account of how the wren became "King of the birds"
 
Made in fine silver, this unique pendant has a tree bark texture behind the wren and is includes an integral hand made vine bail. The wren is amongst a hawthorn and other berries and a flower - symbolic of the wren's habitat in amongst the lower levels of tree and shrub growth.
